Burberry Autumn/Winter 2016 Ready-To-Wear

Christopher Bailey has done it once again, and produced a collection that I am completely and utterly obsessed with! This seasons show was a little different to the usual, with a new ‘model’ that the brand is going with of being able to buy the runway looks the minute that the show ended. This collection has some amazing colours and patterns woven throughout, creating some of the most perfect Autumn/Winter looks.

I also love that the show consists of female and male looks, showing how the clothes work together and providing a more well rounded view for the brand and what they have to offer.

Here’s some of my favourite looks from the show!!

I think this collection is just absolutly amazing and am sitting here wishing I had the bank balance to buy everything!!

My favourite piece from the show is this skirt (below) it’s floral and printed – two of my favourite things – and it just purley beautiful!

What did you guys think about the show?

The Wedding of Dreams

Last week one of my most favourite people in the world got married! My beautiful friends Tanya and Ash finally got married and had the most amazing day in the world, I truly have never seen people so honestly happy together, and I could not be happier for them! Seeing them so in love, almost brings tears to your eyes; they are just the most amazing couple ever. All of this  beautiful love and emotion meant that I was able to wear a very pretty outfit for the day, which I wanted to share with you guys!

I already had a vision in my head of me wearing a long pleated skirt; and found the most perfect one on Boohoo! It a lovely muted pink colour, with floor length pleats and was a very flattering shape to wear. I then paired this with a black ruffled bardot top, for a great smart evening look! Let me know what you guys think! I’ll put links to everything at the bottom!

Oscar de la Renta Spring 2017

Oscar de la Renta will forever be one of my favourite designer brands, I always look forward to seeing what they come out with at every show. With the company being very classic and normally sticking to certain themes that the brand holds. Such as when I think of Oscar de la Renta dresses I always imagine long beautiful flowing ball gowns; which is something that relates to the brand and which the stick to but change-up every season into something new.

Vogue commented that this collection was designed by 10 of the in-house designers; due to a changing of creative directors which will now be Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia of Monse; taking control now after this show. The designers touches on many of the brands classic ‘Oscar-isms’ such as the knit skirt suit, the safari jacket, the peasant dress and of course the cocktail and evening dresses.

Honestly, this isn’t my favourite Oscar show, but there were some absolutely amazing looks, that I will share with you here!

(My obsession with pleats at them moment, cannot handle this beauty!!)

Prabal Gurung Spring 2017

Sunday showcased the new Parbal Gurung Spring 2017 collection, already thought to be a controversial show with the designer being known to share his political and worlds views within his collections. But this one is a real winner for me! Out of all the collections I saw from Sunday, this was definitely my top pick, with the colour palette that I adore and some very pretty and feminine pieces, this has won my heart.

Here are some of my favourite looks from the collection!

My Summer Scent

The perfume that I have been absolutely in love with at the moment is the ‘CK One Shock For Her’ eau de toilette. It has been my go to perfume all summer long!

It is described as juicy, flavourful floriental that warms into a sexy skin musk. As well as  opening with a fierce bouquet of passionflower, pink peony, and jewelled poppy flower. Where the intensity deepens with blackberry, jasmine and narcisse flower drizzled with a liquid accord.

I am no scent expert or in any way, shape, or form great at describing smells; but simplistically put I think that this perfume has an amazingly floral but sweet scent that just smells super summery to me! The only slight downside to this perfume is that it doesn’t have the best staying power, meaning that I do find myself having to reapply it throughout the day! But it’s not the end of the world and I am still in love with it! Highly recommend you go and buy it! Only £25 from The Perfume Shop, here!
